I have left messages twice to have Mr. Burns call me.  I don't know what I'm doing wrong - maybe I'm not saying my number clearly.
PLEASE call me at 660 882-2525 on Wed. Dec. 11th - I'd like to get a pair of crutches but I need some help!!!  Thanks!

Hello -
I'm an information specialist with Amputee Coalition.  A client asked me if I could verify something she's been told.  According to her, the Klick travel crutch is no longer available for distribution, as opposed to what is described on the Showcase page.  Is this true?

Thanks,
Bill D.

I am an accident reconstructionist working out of Rutland, Vermont.  I have been asked by a local attorney to assit him with a broken crutch case.  Our client, very experienced with crutches, was walking a short distance his his wooden crutches when the bottom leg broke sending him through a window.  He was very severly cut.  I am looking for info on crutch "standards" any any information that may be of help to this person.

Thanks Al,
Looks like I'll head out to Seoul without them on Thursday, but perhaps they'll be in production when I get home.  I'm planning a rennovation of my titanium sticks--new grips and tips (which I now have on hand) and new cuffs to arrive later.  The titanium holds up much better than aluminum--no bowing or scratching.  They'll be like a new pair with these changes.  I can now see why they have a 10 year guarantee!

I bet that Thomas or Al will have a professional type answer.  I learned that you tend to schlump (technical term) down on the side on which you have the cane/crutch.  Since you want the bad leg not to be getting extra weight you stick the crutch on the good side so the good hip/leg gets the pressure and the bad one can move easier.

There is nothing  special that needs to be done. The old rivet is drilled out  a dab o sealant and a new rivet installed. That is all that really needs to be done.
