Custom Wooden Kenny Armband Crutches by Ed Openshaw

The Kenny crutch is handmade from exotic and strong, carefully selected Rosewood, Rock Maple or Oak. Ed Openshaw is a master woodworker and longtime crutch maker. The medical grade leather armband is also made to order, as there is no standard pattern.

Poron Crutch Hand Grips have a tough PVC vinyl shell covering a shock absorbing polyurethane closed cell sponge center giving you a comfortable hand grip that is easy to clean and prevents skin sheer.

Your choice of my patented Tornado and Performance gel tips have Absorbalite™ gel polymer inside. Absorbalite™ gel has the ability to eat shock by transforming it into heat energy instead of transmitting it up the crutch shaft into our upper bodies. Reducing these negative ground impact forces will help mitigate overuse syndrome keeping us vertical into the future.

A tracing of your existing crutch and cuff will enable Ed to make a good match. Replacement armbands are available for $125.00 per pair. The crutch price varies with the type of wood you desire. Please allow Ed a full six weeks to complete his work... they will be worth the wait.
