Aluminum Shepards Crutches

Aluminum LiteStix custom Shepherds crutches are shock-absorbing, durable, silent and strong.

These graceful single pole crutches are designed after the now discontinued Lumex Shepherds crutches.

This handsome single pole underarm crutch is custom fabricated for us by TiSPORT. There are no adjustment holes to rattle and squeak. By eliminating the moving parts these crutches will last years longer than mass-produced crutches. We started making Shepherds crutches because the manufacturers decided they were not selling enough of them to make it worth their while. Fine, but what if you have been using this style for years? These Shepherds Crutches come with replaceable black padded urethane foam underarm sleeves.

Performance Gel Hand Grips

Performance gel hand gripsprovide your upper body with comfort and protection. Finger notches provide a good grip with minimal energy expenditure. Designed to fill the Palmar arch of the hand to reduce fatigue and add comfort. They can be used with either hand. The grips are mounted on an extremely strong Chromoly steel collar and post. Unlike aluminum posts, these are not subject to catastrophic failure. The collar is riveted to the 1" aluminum body using stainless steel rivets.

Tornado GT or Performance GT

My patented Tornado GT or Performance GTgel tips have Absorbalite™ gel polymer inside. Absorbalite™ gel has the ability to “eat shock” by transforming it into heat energy instead of transmitting it up the crutch shaft into our upper bodies. Reducing these negative ground impact forces will help mitigate overuse syndrome keeping us vertical into the future.

Please measure your crutch carefully according to our measuring instructions and write them on your tracing along with you name, ship-to address and phone number. Indicate the direction you want your thumb and index fingers to face on the grip; toward or away form the crutch pole. Put measurements on the tracing as shown on the order form. Three Year Warranty.
