Some time ago, a customer presented me with a nice crutch stand made from an assemblage of PVC plumbing parts. It stands next to my office chair and holds my forearm crutches conveniently. Now my crutches are out of harms way because they are not laying on the floor and I don’t have to bend down to pick them up.
With my customer’s blessings, I have made some modifications to their original design that include a rubber pad for the bottom that keeps the stand in place. I now have one next to my bed which is very handy at night and one next to my dining room chair. My wife appreciates not tripping over my crutches and I like how easy it is to put them in and take them out of the stand. It also functions nicely as an umbrella stand. Works great for canes and forearm crutches but not so good for underarm crutches. Stands 16” tall with a 9” square base.
